Please note that you may apply to GRIPS only once in an academic year.

Please complete each section as fully and accurately as possible.

[Important notes]

  1. Once you have begun filling in the Online Registration Form, you cannot stop mid-way and save your answers. When you have completed the form, at the end of the form you will be required to upload pdf files of: (a) Application for Admission 2027–2028; (b) Statement of Purpose 2027–2028; and (c) Research Proposal 2027–2028.
    You may also upload a pdf file of an official transcript(s) of your academic record; your graduation/degree certificate(s); and also official documentation of your English-medium education, issued by a university.
    Please note that when GRIPS requests, you must submit your official transcript(s) and certificate(s) by post, in line with Application Guide 2027–2028.
  2. The Online Registration Form must contain the same information as that stated in your Application for Admission 2027–2028.
  3. If you provide any false or misleading information in this form, your application may not be screened.

If your GPA is 2.9 and the maximum GPA is 4, you should enter 2.9/4. If your GPA is 1.25 and the maximum GPA is 1, you should enter 1.25/1. If your university does not use a GPA system, provide the graduating evaluation in the system used by your university (e.g., A:55, B:3, C:0, Excellent:3, Good:10, etc.). If nothing is available, enter N/A. Please note that we will verify your entries with the official transcripts that you will send us by post.

English proficiency

Please write down TOEFL iBT or IELTS score and the date when you took the test (yyyy/mm/dd). Please note that English test scores are valid for two years from the test date, and therefore, scores must be for tests taken less than two years before the time of enrollment at GRIPS.

Please select your proposed supervisor from among GRIPS's full-time faculty members, including professors, associate professors, senior professors, and assistant professors.
We will allocate a supervisor to you after you begin your studies at GRIPS.
